About this place
Choose pork, squid or prawn—or combine all three in one pancake. At Goshiki, part of the pleasure of ordering okonomiyaki is deciding on the toppings. The menu lists pork, squid and prawn versions at 500 yen each, and a mixed yaki with all three at 650 yen. One visitor also noted that the mixed yaki came with pork, squid and prawn. A single diner might settle on one topping, while the mixed version is an option to share.
For a different combination, consider the beef tendon and spring onion yaki (850 yen) or pork and spring onion yaki (600 yen). One diner says the beef tendon version is a favourite they order often, making it an appealing change from the classic pork okonomiyaki. Beyond pancakes, yakisoba and yaki udon are each 500 yen, while mentaiko yakisoba is 550 yen. These offer alternatives for a smaller meal or another dish to add to the table. The winter menu also lists oyster okonomiyaki (650 yen).
One visitor ordered squid and kimchi okonomiyaki, among other dishes, and found the slightly smaller pancakes just right as snacks with beer. Rather than choosing okonomiyaki as a full meal, diners could also pair a few different flavours with a drink. Seating includes a counter and tables, and the restaurant is described as suitable for solo dining. Goshiki, in Sumiyoshi Ward, offers both dine-in and takeaway. The menu has options to suit different tastes and appetites.
